If we had to take a guess at the future of hospitality, one factor seems fairly clear; That Hotels and Guesthouses will no longer have access to credit card details. Transactions will take place between the customer and the properties payment gateway without anyone having to take card details and manually enter them into a card machine terminal, taking the property out of the onerous 'compliance' process.

For this reason GuestDiary is building connections to Payment Gateways and we already have one with Stripe, and we are currently working on a connection with 'Planet' one of the worlds largest (www.weareplanet.com). Due for release in Q4 2025, making it an ideal winter project.
